Product Disposal and Data Deletion

Cloud-Hosted Database (Azure SQL Database)

If your Antigen Plus installation uses an Azure SQL Database managed by Antigen Plus, all reagent and patient data are stored in our cloud infrastructure.

To request deletion of your database:

  1. Contact Antigen Plus via:

    • Email: customerservice@antigenplus.com
  2. Provide your organization name and confirmation that you authorize deletion of all data
  3. Antigen Plus will permanently delete your database and confirm completion in writing

WARNING: Data deletion is irreversible. Ensure you have exported any records required for regulatory compliance or record retention before requesting deletion.

Customer-Provided SQL Server Database

If your Antigen Plus installation uses a SQL Server database hosted on your organization’s infrastructure, you are responsible for data deletion and database decommissioning.

To remove Antigen Plus data:

  1. Follow your organization’s data retention and destruction policies
  2. Delete the Antigen Plus database using your SQL Server management tools
  3. Uninstall the Antigen Plus application software from workstations
  4. Remove any backup copies of the database according to your backup retention schedule

Regulatory Considerations

Ensure compliance with applicable record retention requirements before deleting any patient or quality control data. Consult your organization’s quality and regulatory affairs departments regarding retention periods for blood bank records under FDA, AABB, and state regulations.
